Rounding out 2017

I know it is already mid January of 2018 but I feel like the last part of 2017 is worth mentioning.  There was a lot going on (like most people) but there was so much fun! Some things I need to blog on were our trip to the State Fair (which happens to be one of my favorite days of the year) and our cruise from December.

Photography sort of took a back burner for awhile and I have slowly been increasing that. Trying to navigate working full time with two kids in extracurricular activities has been an adjustment.  However, I shot a wedding in October and had a family mini in December. January has already had two shoots too!  Hooray! Here a bit from the wedding and a little family holiday mini!

This backyard wedding was so sweet. The bride made most of the decorations herself with the help of family which I feel added a more personal and sentimental feel.  So many rustic touches made it the perfect intimate wedding.

This might have been one of quickest mini sessions I have ever done.  Luckily the kiddos were older and could pose quickly because we were fighting daylight and I was going out of town the next day.  We made it in time and they were able to order Christmas cards!  That is probably one of my favorite things as a photographer.  Seeing the memories we are able to capture and having you share them with family and friends.

That about wraps up photography for 2017.  I will be sharing our cruise and our day at the State Fair of Texas soon.  And I have two sessions to share from January! Hope everyone is off to a great start of 2018! Talk to y’all soon! xo
